Undergraduate Research Assistants
Undergraduate students projects will focus on animal welfare, behavior, physiology, and/or performance. The ideal undergraduate research assistant should be motivated to study this research area and exhibit excellent writing skills, attention to detail, organization, reliability, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Students are typically responsible for preparing research materials, animal care, collecting data, entering data, writing and presenting results.

Dr. Colpoys commonly works with students interested in pursuing research for credit or scholarship hours. There are occasionally paid Undergraduate Research Assistant positions available.
Research for credit- Receive academic credit for conducting research.
Scholarship hours- Conduct research to count towards university scholarship hours.
