Student Stress Survey- All students living in Truman residence halls are invited to take this survey

Dog Owner Survey- If you live with a dog in your dorm room, you are also invited to take this survey

Cat Owner Survey- If you live with a cat in your dorm room, you are also invited to take this survey
This year, Truman Residence Life opened up the 1st floor of Dobson Hall for pet-friendly housing. Having a pet and interacting with animals has been shown to decrease stress levels, and may be particularly helpful for college students who undergo a high amount of stress. However, there are concerns for pet welfare when living in small spaces. Therefore, the objective of this study will be to 1) evaluate the impact of pet-friendly housing on student stress and 2) evaluate the impact of pet-friendly housing on pet welfare.

All students living in Truman residence halls 18 years or older are invited to participate in this study (whether you have a pet or not!). Participation in this study should take 5-30 minutes. If you are interested in participating in this study, please complete the surveys linked to the left by Friday, November 20th.
